I create mostly electronic music that is often rather fast and is mostly influenced by breakbeat genres such as drum and bass. The music is still rather varied as I like to try different genres.

To honour the spookiest month of the year, I released a new horror song! To be honest though, this release is just a coincidence as I was planning to release the song way earlier but then I started procrastinating. :D

It's the first horror song I've ever created and quite different compared to my other songs but I think it turned out quite nice. It still focuses on sound design and percussion like my other music so in that sense the song is somewhat similar to my other stuff.

I recently released a new rather interesting song which is also the soundtrack for a game I released. The song combines some retro elements from the tracker music era with some more modern stuff. The most interesting detail is that the song makes a total of 8 melody references to music from 5 different games!

Go check it out:

I created a remix of the song CP Violation from Half-Life 2. In my opinion, one of the most memorable songs from the game. As a nice little detail, this song also contains a small reference to another song Sector Sweep from Half-Life 2: Episode 2.

Go check it out:

So, as I kind of promised, I'm releasing a new song very quickly after my previous one. It is another melodic drum and bass song but this time created in Renoise instead of OpenMPT like my previous songs. It is also my third song release this year which is better than last year and the year before that!

Check it out:

So, after more than a whole year I release a new song! It is somewhat glitchy melodic drum and bass that uses the Mixolydian scale, so rather interesting stuff there. I think I might be able to release my next songs a bit faster than this one, but in the meanwhile, check this one out:

So it seems like I can release new music once a year. Well, I just released this year piece today and also another different version of that song. Two for the price of one! You can check them out here:

As you may see, I did not release a single song in 2015 but now I've found some extra time and motivation and I will be releasing new songs this year.

I also went ahead and changed my alias to Aphoryze which is what I'm going to use for my future music releases. Seemed like a good idea as it had been such a long time since my last release and it feels like my newer music is way better than the older stuff.

Anyway, I already released a new song called Tournament, so why not go check it out? There's also a nice visualization on YouTube:

Today I released a new song called Aphelion that is an ambient song with some trance elements. I also created quite an interesting visualization video for the song that is available on YouTube.

So I created a song that contains some voice lines from Unreal Tournament III. Unfortunately as those voice lines most probably are copyrighted I cannot upload that song here. But have no fear, I also created an instrumental version that I did upload here. So go ahead and give it a listen: http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/571957

If you want to hear the vocal version you should watch in on YouTube as it also has some nice visualizations:

So I made a cover of a song from an old DOS game Heretic: Shadow of the Serpent Riders. Really it's a great game and the best one the Doom engine in my opinion. The song I covered is also my favorite one from the game: Ice Grotto.

This cover is available here on Newgrounds and there's also a visualization on YouTube altough it's not as great and flashy as some of my previous visualizations.
